...Is what happens in between making plans and realising them. Mine has been rather fraught since my aunt, who has lived with me since 1987, was taken ill during the Gabycon and gave extra stress - I ran on adrenalin for a few days.
She still isn't right and being elderly, this could become a chronic thing or worse, something life threatening. Meanwhile I'm trying to work full time, do the household chores and some writing when I have time.
It's all time consuming and stressful, so if Bike doesn't appear, it's because either something has worsened or I'm too cream crackered to write.
Just thought I'd warn you.
Angharad.

Please take care of yourself.
I do hope that your Aunty gets well. It is so hard when we start to get older.
Best to you.

Priorities
Knowing them is what maturity is about. Hugs and luck.
Family
Family is important - anyways it gives me some time to write up more stories and post them
Not many would do that
Hi
Not many people are willing to put up an elderly relative like that. I know someone who did and it really put a strain on their lives.
I hope things go well
Hugs
Karen
Thanks for the heads up ...
... but we all know that RL must always take priority particularly when it involves health issues. You've already gone well beyond what any of us could expect in your efforts to keep us amused and revealing the wilder extremes of your fevered imagination.
I hope your aunt gets better soon and don't give 'Bike' a thought unless you really feel like it. Our wishes don't count an iota.
Robi
look after yourself!
and you have my best wishes to both you and your Aunt.

My heart goes out to you, Angharad.
My heart goes out to you, Angharad.
I was the primary caretaker for my mother in her last years and it was terribly stressful, almost unbearably so.
Do take care of yourself.

Awh cr*p! That's bad news, Ang. I wish I could *wish* it well
My own father is 83 with very bad knees but otherwise sound since the cataracts and heart valve surgeries,
Still 83 IS 83 and though both his older siblings are alive and his parents made it to their mid 90s one of these days he will falter and die.
I don't look forward to it at all. As infurating as dad can be he is a decent man and I do respect and love him. I dread his passing and hope you need not have to face this sorrow soon either.

I was privileged and blessed...
in helping care for my mother-in-law, who was in the final stages of Alzheimer's. While it was very trying for our family, it was also a time of grace and growth and comfort. I pray for your strength as you care for your aunt.
Dio vi benedica tutti

Best wishes
Best wishes to the both of you!
Take care of her - AND yourself first. Write when you get a chance. If it's not Bike, we will understand (or I will anyway).
Thanks,
Anne
Sending my love
Dear Angharad
I just thought I would send you some love over the net and urge you to look after yourself. Please remember that all your readers are sending the same.

and your life before you worry about your fans. We'll survive. I'm always surprised that you've managed to post daily for several years as it is. Sending good thoughts your way.
