This is just... as angering a story as possible.

Lead in to the story is this:

Jenna Bissell, an 11-year-old fifth grader at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, says she tripped outside on the school playground, cut open her face in a fall that left her bloody and with two loosened teeth, and was denied even a visit to the school nurse by her teacher – because, she says, she has two gay moms.

The horrifying part is that the evidence in the situation seems to back up that assessment...

And the most appalling in THIS article...

was this little gem of a paragraph:

Bissell's family initially sought money from the school district for the girl's medical expenses, but the claim was rejected by the district's liability insurance.

To use the phrase of a friend of mine...

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

Time for the ACLU to get involved

The teacher has over stepped her boundaries. When did she get her degree in psychology and as a medical doctor?
The child needed medical attention not admonishment for who her parents are. I smell a discriminatory law suit.

Terrible

The fact the little girl was not treated for whatever reason is wrong. So either way something needs to be done. I pray for her safety and well being mew.
