After wrangling with that delightful corporate entity known as Blue Cross for the last seven months, our family medical insurance has finally been restored.

I have a June 10 appointment with my neurologist to determine if the vertigo is merely another expected symptom of the tremor disorder I have, or if it's another harbinger of Parkinson's. My doctor already expects the former, but I'll be seeing him regarding that and other issues just to be on the safe side. Mrs. D's blood work for Lupus haven't come back yet, but again, with everything else she's got going on as well, it could be just another aspect of her fibro or her hyper-thyroiditis. Geez, say that three times fast.

While I've got your attention, is there anyone here who can transcribe music from a recording? I've got several songs here that I'd like to see put on paper, so to speak. And of course, once again, thank you for all of your prayers and support and encouraging words. I know I would not have been able to weather the storm of the last ten months without your love and friendship. Thank you. Andrea

I'm really pleased that your wrangling has paid off, it proves you can fight the corporates and win.

Now concentrate on fixing yourself and your good lady.

Glad you have...

your insurance back!

There are MIDI programs, that let you "play" a keyboard - and transcribe the results into sheet music. Dunno if you've the needed tools to make all that work. Sadly, I don't have the talents to attempt the manual (or technical/MIDI) transcription. Good Luck.

Vertigo is no fun... I experienced that (briefly) about 28 years ago... Turns out it was a side effect of a med I was given (Naproxen Sodium AKA Aleve, Anaprox, etc.) when I injured my neck in flight training. Hopefully they can pin yours to something that innocuous and not something serious as you fear.

Regards,
Ann

Speaking of MIDI

If you can find a MIDI version of the song you want transcribed on the Web, a MIDI file is a record of a performance, and programmes exist to convert those records into musical notation. Most are fairly inexpensive, although very pricey versions exist aimed at the professional marketplace.

Here's a discussion of a lot of them:

but you can find them easily with a search for midi convert musical notation or similar words.

I'm Glad

that you've gotten your coverage back. I'm still new to the community so I hadn't heard things had gotten that bad with you and yours. I'd have definitely added my prayers to those of others wishing better times for you and those you love.
As for the testing you currently are facing I'm adding them now. I read you comments here a lot in both blogs and stories and you're a lovely person who I'm really coming to respect on here, You're so supportive to so many.
