I'm alive.

To say I'm doing well would be an overstatement, but life continues. I have managed to rouse myself to start editing for John in Wauwatosa, and that's going reasonably well.

(Think about it. How serious and depressed can you stay when John gets his manic muse going?)

Amazon? Ma'at? I hope they'll get fully untracked, but no promises on when that might occur.

My thanks to those who've offered encouragement.

Nicole (a.k.a. Itinerant, Nikki, ...)

PS: Thanks to Angharad for continuing my favorite soap opera. ;-)

Oh GOSH !

I DO SO LOVE YOUR WRITING AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT SO EVER THAT YOU WERE DEPRESSED! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE START WRITING AGAIN?

I love your historica references, most of which I have found quite accurate and have gone on to use what I learned other places.

Welcome back!

I know this won't mean much coming from a complete stranger and all, but I do hope you feel better. I understand only FAR too well how difficult depression is. Writing used to be the only thing that made me feel better, and even that I wasn't able to do with any amount of desire until very recently.

Also, I have yet to meet a Nicole that I haven't liked, so take that for what it's worth. ;-)

Best wishes,
~Zoe T.

Didn't notice this at first, *I* person

Itinerant,

I'm making progress, signif progress on the BIG part of Timeout 4 Chapter 12 that-wants-to-be-several-more-at-least.

Happy I am having a theraputic? effect on you rather than the lobotomizing I often inflict on others.

Taking a little vacation time around this weekend, Next week gets weird as Dad flies back from Europe -- IN AN AIRPLANE, DUH, like at 83 he can flap his arms that fast -- volcano permitting. After I get back I am on *standby* at work, assigned where I can quickly drop things and head to another location where a worker is VERY due to give birth.

I'll be filling in for her at work but her husband can forget about me doing any more than THAT! Jeese, you write a story about being changed into a teenaged hottie girl and people ...

Oh where were we? Right. Happy to see you are feeling *betterish?* I have a long time friend, since early 1960's, who has suffered from anxiety and depression off and on for decades. It hurts to see him down and is so good to see him recover.
