“Procrastination is like masturbation, in the end you’re just screwing yourself.”

That anonymous quote sums up the world as we know it. We are a people who love to put off until tomorrow what we could easily do today, because there’s always something.

The deadline for writing a story based on a song has come and gone, like many of the protagonists in R-rated TG stories. Knowing how things happen, we’ve decided to extend the deadline to the Ides of March. For those who have no idea when the Ides will occur, it will be the day after Selection Sunday and three days before the first full day of NCAA basketball play. (We aren’t counting the play-in games, are you?)

If you want to know how to write a story based on a song, look at the current entries.

Each takes a different approach and all are quite good.

Anyone who posted an entry before the "Based-On-A-Song-Challenge" link was created can PM Andrea. We've got a partial list, but will add everyone else that contacts her. If you're not sure...write her with a reminder!

Have fun!

p.s. Buon divertimento!

Eh?

I get the Ides of March, 'cos we did Julius Caeser in school oh, this many decades ago.

But who, what, when, where, why and how is "Selection Sunday"? Sounds terrifying, especially for those of us who never got selected, know what I mean?

..."three days before the first full day of NCAA basketball play"? Now I know we are two nations divided by a common language!

From CollegeHoops.Net:

In 2010, Selection Sunday is on March 14th. The NCAA Tournament field will be announced on CBS, beginning at 6 PM. This follows the completion of the Big Ten Championship, which is the last game before the Field is announced.

Interesting statement on

Interesting statement on procrastination. My personal favorite and which I have used on several occassions is 'procrastination takes time'. :) Jan
