No idea why. May be connectivity problems since most US connections to Germany go through Baltimore and there's some weather effects to deal with.

Depending on where the server is located it could be brought down by various bad weather out there. Most likely the server lost power.

It is a long road ahead but I will finally become who I should be.
seems to be a problem in Germany
I did a trace of the Internet route (ran tracert for computer geeks) between my computer and fictionmania; it seems the last good hop was a network backbone router in Germany. It would appear the problem lies with the Fictionmania server, or at least somewhere between the Internet backbone, their ISP, and the server.

Hi all.
No one has commented on that, but since this afternoon (CET) FM was
disconnected by the current provider. The notification note was sent a
minute before end of the providers office hours and so far no one has
responded on the question for the reason and the request of reconnection.
I hope this issue is solved as soon as possible. Since this is a
controlled disconnect of the server nothing could be done until the
provider returns access to it.
I muse the start of the regular office hours would be around 8-10 am
(CET). Till this time FM is not accessible by any means. Please refrain
from any further request for information, why FM is not available. If
new information is available, someone from the Taskforce or associated
with the Taskforce will share the information.
