I first saw the tag end of this story on the news, so I missed who it was in the poster. I surprised and thrilled that Cindy McCain took such a public stance. As an old-fashioned Republican (I believe government should butt out of issues such as deciding who can and can not get married) I applaud Cindy McCain for taking this public stand against hate and bigotry.

As an aside, I did think it is interesting that so many of the commenters were concerned that her picture had been possibly Photoshopped (tm) rather than the principle she is supporting. Duh, it is an advertisement, why shouldn't it be? Is there some kind of moral code being broken? ;-)
