–who wishes all on BC “A Guid New Year” and also wishes that she was spending Hogmanay and N’ear Day “up by at hame” but will, nevertheless, be celebrating the birth of 2010 wi’ a wee dram o’ ten-year-old Laphroig, and hoping that, perhaps, she might be First Footed² by her tall dark Scots next-door neighbour, bearing a lump of coal, some shortbread and a bottle of whisky!
