Here's a bit of shameless self-promotion - my online photo gallery of Kenilworth's fireworks do (held a few hours ago). It's one of the most popular in the region, typically attracting >10,000 people for the half hour display. The approach roads to the castle are closed off to aid in herding people to/from the site.

And for comparison, last year's lot:

Helpful viewing hints: To the right of each photo is a magnifying glass, which allows you to zoom in and pan around the photo in a slightly larger size (uploaded at 1600x1200, full res remain on my HDD). There's also a handy download link above the photos, in the unlikely event you fancy having a copy for whatever reason...

And finally, you would have thought Mercia FM (who were providing safety and timing announcements in addition to the accompanying music) could have worked out a better slogan for their banners:
"Warwickshire's hit music radio station"
So easy to misread the location of one letter and get the complete wrong end of the stick... :)

Spectacular
I should think they take some beating. Makes most shows look amateurish by comparison.
See what you mean about the slogan - could have done better! It certainly shows the benefit of using an editor (or other independent opinion).
