Could anyone in their right mind have imagined this lasting so long? Does anyone in their right mind actually read it? We all know the author is barmy - talks to cats and gets sensible replies! Goes into raptures over dormice and bicycles -need I say more?
It's supposed to be over a million words already (who's crazy enough to count 'em?)with presumably 900,000 pure twaddle and most of that blamed on me - me the original Cool Cat! Huh - the nerve of the woman, she takes the credit when people like it, and blames everything else on me - maybe I should contact the Cat's Protection League? Doesn't this constitute animal abuse or mental cruelty?
Anyway, how much longer do you lot want this dribble (as opposed to drabble)to continue - how about till I eat that bloody dormouse? (Hee hee, sorry I'm drooling with anticipation). Do let me know and I'll wee in her computer when you get fed up.

You've almost made it to 800 - so squeezing another 200 or so shouldn't be too difficult :)
Once this Mafia encounter's dealt with, there's still dormice counting, the girls' schooling (especially with Mima now about to start nursery), Puddin' causing havoc when she starts to toddle/walk, lots of legal stuff (e.g. Des' estate, adoption of the girls, marriage), not forgetting cycling (hopefully we can have some incident-free cycle rides in future episodes!) and blue light healing...
...then in about a year's time, if you're getting stuck for story ideas, you can always have another round of Cathy vs The Mafia.
Actually, thinking of dormice, I don't think Trish and Livvie have met Spike yet, whereas Mima's had numerous encounters...
And I don't think Cathy's given that proposed talk to the parents of the school yet - so maybe that's one way to do both things simultaneously - bring Spike home for a brief holiday, meet the gang, then in front of the assembled parents, Spike gets scared and does a repeat of her ever-so-popular YouTube performance :)

As to how long? That's entirely up to you. I do enjoy reading the trials and tribulations of Cathy. If the two of you are getting tired of writing, I do understand. Feel free to terminate the story when you feel the time is right. (Just don't stop writing entirely! PLEASE!)

I should like to see Cathy made an honest woman and hang up her spurs! Far too unlady like, going around skewering bad guys. Hyeah, like I'm one to talk. This has been a long run and I have really enjoyed it. The barmy author will have to decide for herself.

this is all just a daydream. She suffers narcolepsy, insomnia, and something I forget the name of. She has not kept us all riveted to the screen each night for 800 episodes awaiting her posting. Heck there are TV soap operas that wish they had as many episodes before being canceled.
You keep writing, and I'll keep reading as long as you do. If you end it, as addicted as you are, we'll get something else from you that HAS to be just as good.
