Whilst reading the Sunday Times Magazine today I came across an article about being ‘Love Shy’
I thought that the experiences a few brave souls have expressed in this article would resonate on this site. I know that I was shy growing up but even I didn’t suffer as much as they have.
I attach a link below, it is well worth a read, but I finished it with tears in my eyes, so be warned.

Some of the comments are really hurtful
I mean there is one women that blames the LS man, saying they feel woman rejected by not approaching and that they are self centered. How could anyone see that situation as being self centered, who the hell said that guys should be the one to make the first move?
I find this whole situation awfully saddening and a good example how the normal approach of society to man is hurtful and potentially dangerous to some individuals.
There are people who make a living from being mean...
...and many more who emulate them.
Most of us had mums or grandmums who told us, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all," but a large proportion of humanity have ignored this good advice.
I'd say they were thick-headed, but that wouldn't be nice...
