I suddenly recalled a story that started sometime in the past few months, about a guy who is asked by his sister to allow himself to be magically turned into a girl so s(he) can bear the family heir. Kind of like a JulieO story but I don't think it was. I do remember some strong discussions about the brother being manipulated by his family and his sister's family, but I just can't recall the name or author. Does anybody remember it?
And, while I was looking back through the stories from around June 1st, I noticed several continuing stories that have since come to a halt. Several authors cited family plans over the summer as a reason why they wouldn't be posting for awhile, but others didn't. I don't want to single out any particular author, as my list is purely personal and incomplete. I have PM'd a few, asking about continuations, but if any of you recognize yourselves from the early June timeframe, perhaps you'd like to post a quick comment about what we can hope for in the future, good or bad news.

The Life and Times of Kelly Anderson next part is being written
I don't know if this is one of the stories you are referring to or not, but my last published update was in early June, so I'll go ahead and comment.
June/July have been really crazy busy months for me in RL, dealing with the end of the school year for my son, and some issues that has brought up have taken a toll on my time.
Having said that, I am working on the next part, and hope to get something done over the next week or two.

Yes and no
I noticed alot of stories that seemed to have stopped around then, but only had time to follow up on a few to see if their authors already posted something to explain. I quickly realized that it would take more time than I had to spare to check out all the possible stories that fit the time frame, so I quit trying. Not wanting anybody to feel slighted by omission, I metaphorically threw my hands in the air at that point and decided to make my comment as non-specific as possible.

The story in question is called Twins
The plot fits a Julie O story called Twins that appeared in early June if I remember correctly. If you can't find the story here I'm certain that it is posted on Stardust as well as FM.

Maiden by Decree
isn't so much stalled as I just haven't had time to do much writing recently. Work, and some health issues, plus some visiting family from out of town have really eaten up my month here. Though I am still working on chapter twenty-three of Maiden so it should appear sometime within the next week.
Don't know if that's one of the series you were thinking of, but thought I'd give a quick update on things here, anyway.
