In case some of you have not seen this yet, I was real sorry to see this. I met her once once and she was absolutely adorable.

Mixed feelings
There is no doubt he/she was very brave for the pioneering work that was done. I wrote he/she because Virginia always claimed to be a Crossdresser and was 'just' a man who happens to take hormones, lives 24/7 looking like a woman and probably socializing like one. *shrug*.
I met Virginia two times and the first time I met her I found Virginia blunt and tactless. Anyway, this was my introduction to Virginia at a social event (buffet line) :
*Virginia looks me up and down*
Then with no preamble Virginia says:
"You're too tall!"
Way to help somebody's confidence Virginia.
Virginia then goes on to criticize me for other things if I recall ( like a side of beef. )
*Sigh*
FWIW, I am under 5'9" and weighed barely 138 pounds back then and was only about 24 years of age. Yes I am kinda tall for one of Asian descent but not THAT bad. I was also wearing jeans and a top and sneakers so I did not have heels on to make me the 'GIANT'.
Still, I wish her rest.

Pisses me off
There is a certain T woman up here that has pissed me off a few times, and now, I treat some people just like she did me; well maybe not quite that bad.
I can see the point. Transition has to be something you can't live without; not for the faint of heart; no way I want someone bemoaning the fact that they ruined their live because I told them to.
Once people start down that road on their own, then I try to be supportive, and sometimes demanding; a real bitch; work on that voice; talk like a woman; lose weight; stop stomping around like a logger; get rid of the raccoon eyes. I generally say all the shit that ain't fair, but then if a person makes just a little progress, they will feel better for it
