I used to have a cat named Opus. And another named Bill, of course. Ack, thppt.
Why?
I wasn't aware there was any great pressing need or desire for a mascot.
But if you want one, how about Lust from the "Sins" webcomic? She's got this neat ability to change people's bodies from male to female. Sounds like just the one we want, eh? ;-)

Yet so far. The closest things I have to a hat box are a zippered wig case and an oval riding helmet box. It looks like Jugsy is out of luck ... for now. She won't give up easily though. Yeeeah. ;)

Some strange western, I forget the man's name whose head is *wanted*.
I'd put one of our 14 year old cats in a hatbox but they might object.
How about a sexy Victoria's Secrets model in a bikini coming out of a hatbox? Nah, my luck if I suggested a sexy model comming out of a hatbox in a bathing suit I'd get a male pro wrestler with his bulging steriod muscles and shrunken steriod manhood or a plastic model of a DeLorian with a bikini painted on it.

Pro wrestlers are NOT sexy. Well, most of 'em aren't.
Now if you had said Brendan Frasier or Will Smith, I would concede the point, except for the bikini part.
Maybe two, then? One guy, one girl? With a fancy little fade animation from one to another? Or one disappears into the box, the other comes out the other side?
I don't know if Opus would be the best choice for mascot either, though. If I recall, he has quite a problem with the makeup industry- Mary Kay in particular.
