Know the feeling
The lithium cell battery that maintains all the systems settings and clock in my nearly six year old Dell XPS is failing and needs replacement, annoying but not a big deal.
On top of that my DLS modem is dead, no binking lights, so I'm back to dialup on a PC I don't dare turn off.

I don't know what the problem is/was but the fact that the universe wasn't destroyed, is thanks to my having a good book to read. It has taken me some time to get on the internet today, which is almost certainly due to Microshit and Useless-Packard combining to frustrate and anger me.
I will attempt to post Bike 552 in a moment.

Sounds like a very pleasurable occupation. :-) Hopefully it's a good book. Though, maybe not tooo good, as that's been known to make sleep difficult. Best luck to her.
