I upgraded my iMac to Sonora about two weeks ago. I immediately had several problems, some of which turned out to not be fixable. I had to wipe the hard drive and reinstall the previous OS (Ventura) then restore my Apps and data from backup. First thing the iMac does after successfully booting is tell me I need to upgrade to Sonoma. Yeah, not gonna happen for a while.

The only real problem was with Music, which would play tunes and videos if I clicked on them specifically, but wouldn't list the files until then. I had to sign in to my Apple Account to get it to show all the files. For some reason, signing in required getting a confirmation code from Apple, and that took four tries. Argh.

For now, though, everything seems to be working fine. I also have about 12k on the next Masks story, #27.
