So while life is going to be tough for a month or so, I shall endeavour to post if I can. There is a new Bike tonight and I received a lot of support from different readers and one or two who weren't so supportive, but I don't expect everyone to agree with me, if they did I'd have to admit they were perfect too.
I was particularly boosted by other writers who supported my grumble including some very popular ones and also for whom I have great respect and I got some extra comments so I felt happy enough to return.
I hope you lot keep it up not just for me but also for other writers and we have some very good writers here, so lots of Kudos and comments please to show how much we appreciate them.

It's okay to get grumpy sometimes.
And even for the best of us -- such as yourself -- response on the site can ebb and flow. Hits have been doing good, as have kudos, but even Joyce and I were commenting the other day that, while our own stuff is doing okay on comments right now, comments in general seem to be ebbing off a bit at the moment.
Having said that, overall readership seems to be doing pretty much fine, and I'm expecting that the arrival of summer here in another month or so will help with engagement :)
The only person who needs to be happy with what you write is yourself. It can be hard to remember that sometimes... but it is worth remembering.

some of the problems you had have eased, I was told some years ago that as i got older more and more of my time would be my own to do with as i pleased ,They were wrong ! Looking back over the years i sometimes wonder how i fitted work in, what with grandchildren and my many other interests time is at something of a premium, Would i change it ? No, Not at all , You never know whats around the corner so my view is simple life is too short if you can go out and enjoy it.
As for your detractors, I guess everyone has the right to their own opinions , The fact that their views are very much in the minority tells you all you need to know about them.
Glad to see you back Angharad .... now to read Bike !!
