Just wanted to thank the reader who supplied my "Another Guy at West Peak" story with kudos number 100 recently. It had been at 99 for at least several months, and since it was a riff on a Bru story that had long since faded from notoriety and most likely from memory, I wasn't really surprised that nothing further was happening.
Actually, having been here since the days when 50 votes was a reader response to be really proud of, having three of my six pieces at 100+, including "Corey's Last Concert" at exactly 200 -- as a contest entry in 2018 it had a built-in audience that the others lacked -- is still something of a marvel to me.
Best, Eric

I get it
It’s funny, but that is a milestone, isn’t it? A nice round number, courtesy of evolution that has given us eight fingers and two thumbs. I must admit, I was similarly delighted when ‘The Secret Life of Millicent Shakspeare’ hit a hundred.
So congrats! And here’s wishing you many more.
