The far right column in the My Stories page has the title Published, and shows that every one of my stories has been published.

That seems to indicate there must be a way of loading stories without publishing them. How, and does it mean I could load every chapter of a story I'm publishing in parts, and then publish each chapter at some later date?

Published and Unpublished

In the footer of your stories is a notation "Published." If you select this it becomes "Not Published."

Good luck.

I don't see this "published" footer

I've looked for this footer in a few of my stories and don't see it. I don't even see the word "Published" anywhere.

I've tried in editing mode and looked in the various nooks at the bottom of the editing page, but no joy.

Can you give another hint, Jill?

thanks,

Jill has editing privileges (she does, or did, editing for a few other writers here), so she can see a few more of the internal flags than other people. As far as pre-publishing for release at a later time, there's a module for that in Drupal but it caused problems so we turned it off. I don't even know if it's available in the current version of the software.

Hugs,
Erin

I'm special, I guess. Sorry - I thought everyone has those gadgets.

Yes Erin, I still do quite a lot of editing. Currently I'm deep into a project for Marianne Gregory. I'm also working with Shauna and others.

Many thanks

Many thanks for the clarification.

I'll carry on as normal.

Best wishes and thanks for all the hard work to you two and all volunteers
