First I may be confusing several plots
I'm 95% sure the story that I am looking for is a Standalone story, although it ties in with some of the feuds other cliques have with the Kimba's, and I can only remember the ending, and other than the main characters a specific character.
This character is troubled, depressed to the point of being suicidal, sees and hears ghosts\spirits, I think he may have been an avatar of one of the lower gods of the Greek pantheon (making him a part of the New Olympians)
New Olympians likenesses are used in a SIM against the Kimba's
I think Make and Overclock may have been enlisted to hack the sim computer, and sneak the troubled student in to the sim area, but this may be wrong, as all I am sure of was that there were 2 students enlisted for this purpose.
Story ends with Bardue and Delarose treating the antagonist clique of this story, GoB's I think, to an almost realistic sim run against an extremely PO'd DARK TENNYO

The character that you are looking for
Is this character-Stygian (Michael Weatherson).
Found it in the Whateley Academy wiki under the New Olympians
Hope this helpful
Maybe an Ayla story
Assuming you're referring to a canon story, I believe Diane was the only author to write about the New Olympians to any significant extent. So anything involving them as more than a villain-of-the-week is probably in an Ayla story.
Whateley Stories
Check the forum on the main site, I'm sure someone can help you there. You might even be able to find the story through looking.

Many thanks to all
Many thanks to all for the help,
Stygian was the name of the character, and i got so focused that I was right about the story being a solo I discounted the obvious way to find the story, after I re-read Diane's "Ayla and the Great Shoulder Angel Conspiracy"
Stygian was the key, but as I couldn't remember that characters name, it didn't help, but once I had it I did a search on the Whateley Wiki for Stygian, and of the 4 story references for him 3 were Diane's "Ayla and the Great Shoulder Angel Conspiracy" and the 4th was Joe Gunnarson's "Call the Thunder"
N.B.
Joe's name and his story title are links to Joe's part of the Closet's TOPSHELF and his story
