This is a collection of stories based on the expressive and performing arts.
People will recognize stories "Fanatic" (music), "The Poet" (poetry), "Main Street Drag" "Pastries" and "Legacy" (drag), "Breathless" and "The Stand In" other performances and a new story "Casting" (film). Others are about the person as art in stories like "Chaffeuse", "Homemaker" and "The Statue" and in the extended "Beauty Boy". My opening story "The Tiara" verges on fantasy, but I like to think of it as themed on the power of beauty.
