Caution:
I'm having a terrible week.
My step mother died on Tuesday after several months of failing health. My step father died suddenly the next day. I will be missing one funeral. I am flying to the U.S. for the other funeral. Just preparing for an airplane trip would be enough to make me highly stressed. (It's not the flying, it's all of the preparations.) On top of this, the natural gas pipe going into my home needs to be fixed quickly as the furnace is normally needed by late October and I will be gone for a week.
I won't be on a computer much until I am home on the 27th.
Prayers and warm thoughts from my BCTS friends would be appreciated. I have never met any of you in real life but there are some people here that are as good of a friend that you can possible get that you've never met face to face.

Oops. I did something wrong.
I'm not sure why this is in the story list. I thought setting it to "Blogger" would move it to the stuff in the left column of the front page. I post stuff so rarely that I have to figure out each time how to create a post.
So very sorry to hear ... Words can't ...
Words can't help much when Death comes calling. Please take care of "you and yours" first.
Deep breaths. Have some tea, if that won't add to stress.
Call airline, ask what can/can't be in your carry-on baggage. USA (especially?) rules are weird ... I don't want you to have 'surprises' getting on or getting off the plane.
Again, sorry.
Take care. Safe travels.

PS: Don't try to fix where this message 'landed' - we'll see it.
My condolences
Losing family is hard especially getting hit doubly hard like that. I hate travelling too and when you're doing all that preparing in the midst of grieving and other things that need to aren't getting done it can take a toll on a person. Take the time and while I know things won't go well since you're going to one funeral and missing another, I at least hope they go somewhat smoothly so you are spared further upset.
*big hugs*

Don't take me too seriously. I'm just kitten around. :3
I'm so sorry for your losses
huggles, hon.
Very sorry to hear
I love flying, but I can imagine it's not a fun things right now.
About 20 years ago, I had a double loss in my family, so I can sympathize on that. It's never easy.
Hugs!
