My story 'Lost Luggage' has just gone over 400 kudos points.
It is rather a dark tale but one that I like a lot.
A big thank you to all who have read my stories and found time to 'like' them via kudos or to comment.

AND????
Are they like boxtops or GreenStamps? We can cash them in with Erin after we have acquired so many? A nice kitchen knife set would be good. Or that Table Dinner Piece set, salt, pepper shakers, choice of butter or gravy dish. Kinda had my eye on the cute dish towels.
Congrats Sam, you worked your tush off writing all those excellent stories. The entertainment, the time out from real life problems for all your readers beyond measure. So dang many of them too, I'd be hard pressed to name a favorite. Oh heck, let's just say all of them!

Your comments are always welcome and are a big part of why I write stories to publish here.
Sadly, 'green stamps' are not accepted here. :) :)

Congratulations!
You've earned it!
Of course you realise you make me terribly envious :)
Green with...
The GreenStamps... are they S&H Green Stamps? Or is that brand old and gone forever?
As for the 400+ Kudos, congratulations! I'm so green with envy! My top three stories are in the low 160s.

Not S&H
but Green Shield. They were a UK version. I remember licking them and sticking them into the books. The second Arab-Israeli war (Yom Kippur) war and the subsequent price rises in oil scuppered their operation quite quickly.
Thanks for the kind words. It took me a long time to get my first 100 kudos points so don't give up.

and what about
Co-Op stamps? Used to collect both varieties which got used for treats. If I remember rightly the redemptio value of a standard stamp was 0.0001p/d each - you needed a lot of stamps to buy anything useful! Didn't Green Shield transmogrify into Argos?
Congrats on all those kudos, highest I can find in my looong list of story posts is @ 250.

Coop stamps
I remember them. I'm a member of my local society and get a 'divi' every so often. The 'store' (as it is called in Scotland) is my nearest convenience store but I only go there if I've run out of stuff.
anyway, back on topic. Very few of my posts have gotten over 300 kudos. Most are in the 100-200 range and some a lot lower than that. Not everything we write gells with the readers here.
I hope that things are resolving themselves in a good way for you. If I was not in the middle of decorating two of my three bedrooms, you would have been more than welcome to use one.
Samantha
yeah
You get nothing for nothing, the price of the stamps and indeed the Divi is always gonna be higher prices on the shelves. That said, they are, around here at least, prepared to open stores in communities that haven't anything else so they can't be all bad.
Feeling a bit more positive about things this week, i've got a short/mid term plan, we'l have to see what happens longer term.
