Well I thought i'd impress you with my Swedish again!

Unfortunately my time here is drawing to a close, i've got three days left in Skane to find Wallander - were those his footprints on the beach earlier? If I don't find him before maybe he'll be in Polizen HQ in Ystad on Saturday.

Since my last missive things have improved a little - I sort of sorted the air in tyre issue, enough that yesterday's fresh puncture was the first deflation in a week. I've also spent a few days on Oland collecting maybe 100 windmills and a fair number of bits of archaeology along the way. Then, since Monday i've been working my way along the coast back to Skane.

Until I got soaked today it's been wall to wall sunshine too - which is good for the soul if not the skin! The scenery hasn't all been trees either, some of it has been the sea, the self same one that I can hear crshing against the shore 100m away tonight. I've taken to having a daily paddle to cool the blood and relax a bit - today I was walking through the surf on the way back from grocery shopping - how neat is that?

And the archaeology, one of the big draws for me, hasn't left me wanting either. Huge grave fields, tombs, castles, ship burials and more, even i'm impressed and i've seen Stone Henge!

These last few days will not just be looking for Wallander but for more rocks and things, oh and an elk/moose for the GC!
