unless I've got them wrong, I can understand that it had been "festering", and slightly surprised it didn't erupt earlier.

Because 1) I couldnakt get my head in writing mode and 2) I didn't have the time in between moving my possessions and getting ready for the trip.
It's not quite as I first envisioned it but close enough I guess.
