A number of months ago I posted story that probably went bit too far. It wasn't the TG content. It was my expressing my discontent with the current political situation in the US. I also went into great detail about the genetics of magic, trying to keep it as realistic as possible. This was not important for my stories. The readers didn't really care about this; however. it was important for the construction of the stories. The readers just didn't need to know the details. These stories aren't a Perry Mason crime story. They are just stories. The logic is not important to the readers.
"Cynthia and the Wonderful Corrections" will probably be the last episode of the "Cynthia Chronicles". If there are any further adventures, they will take place earlier than this concluding series of adventures. I was very pleased with the reception of some of the earlier stories in the series. "Charli and the Girl Cave" was one. "Bobbie and the Glass Ceiling" was one of my favorites. Although it didn't go well with the non-golf fans. As far as the story line went, "Cynthia and the Queen of the Knight" was one of the most complicated and detailed of any of the series. I think Schikaneder would have been pleased. Mozart would have been okay with it. "Cynthia and the Dumpster Diver " was another favorite. I was so happy it brought tears to the eyes of some of the readers. The romance between Cindy and Donna, then Don was something I had planned from the beginning. By this time, Cindy had totally matured as a young woman. Her transition was complete. The Wizard had said he would never make it easy for her, and he didn't. Cindy had a lot to learn, and she accepted the challenge. I think "Randi and the College Professor" was an important story for many reasons. She had a lot to learn about her abilities and love. It wasn't just about her husband to be. It was about helping a broken child grow up into a happy and productive woman. There are a number of unanswered tales out there. This story will answer most of them.
No one is immortal; however, the life expectancy of the magic and non-magic is considerably different. This has to be a source of concern and sadness. Hopefully, we can answer some of those questions before we bring things to a close.
