My heart is aching right now,
and I wish with all my heart that I had some words to comfort you. I don't, and I regret that more than I can say. You added SO much love and heart to my little universe, I feel ashamed that I can't say what you need to hear right now.
I've heard it said that if one just tries to remember the good times and good memories they had with someone who had passed, that it helps with the helpless feelings that they didn't do enough to help that person stay, or make it easier for them when they passed. It's said that time heals all wounds, and I wish I could tell you that it's true.
What I CAN tell you that time can lessen the immediate feelings of failure and soften the blow of losing a loved one... eventually.
I hope you know how much joy and love you have brought to your readers and how much you are loved and treasured by us.
