The third book in this series will carry on following Drew and Lacy as they become entangled in a complicated case of cyberbullying. Drew and Lacy are sophomores in high school. Drew is a male going to school as a female student due to a case of gynecomastia. He does not want to be a girl but finds it easier than trying to explain or hide his breast development. As time goes on, he finds he enjoys the softer side of things.
With the advent of technology and the explosion of its use by younger people, the use of technology as a tool in communication and in bullying and attacking others has exploded. In this book, I try to highlight risks and behavior based on real events which have been in the news in the last few years.
One real consequence has been situations where victims have resorted to hurting themselves or even attempting suicide. In this story, one of the side characters will be involved in considering or attempting suicide. [No one Dies] But this is a real risk and is appropriate to discuss. Our main characters will be instrumental in saving a potential victim of suicide.

The book was great.
Except now I want to go back and re-read the first two books. Again. As in I will be reading the first book for the 4th time and the second book for a third time. I seem to do this with a lot of Daring Diane books. And Karin Bishop books. And Tanya Allan books. And Angela Rasch books. And Katie Leone books. And Alicia Snowfall books. OK. That last one was wishful thinking. Denise never wrote the sequel to Last of the Fey.. But I can say that almost every book that I have read more than once in recent years either writes on this site or at least has an account here.
And now it is seriously bugging me that I can't remember the title or author's name of the story about a kid who winds up working at Disney World as one of Tinkerbell's friends. It's a story on BCTS.

Books you couldn't remember
Those books would likely be Magic of The Kingdom and Magic Of The Kingdom: Book 2 by Zoe Taylor and Dark Kitten.
I've read both books at least twice myself, and enjoyed them immensely.
The main character is just out of high school, so being 17 or 18 years old is fairly likely. I wouldn't call Josh (the main character's name at start of story) a kid though. His portrayal of a pixie results in his being hired to be her from then on, and to live as a female.

I have read it twice. And I will probably read it again in a year or two.
As for "kid", I believe he was just out of high school. At least, I don't remember high school still being part of his life. Perhaps I shouldn't have said "kid" but once you've been out of high school for decades someone being 17 or 20 doesn't seem like much.

I felt like the plot was well thought out and executed for this! I can't say that I enjoyed it as it plucked at my heart a lot... I'm so grateful I didn't grow up with social media as I'm not sure I would have made it out of my teenage years given how much bullying I already endured... If I have one minor criticism it was that the opening part of the book could have gone to Drew first and then out to the others... Kind of hard to get my brain back wrapped around the characters initially as it had been so long before we got to them.
I had just been looking at your Amazon page earlier looking to see if there was anything new and was surprised to shortly after see this post. I went through the link and read it then. I hope you won't keep us waiting too long for another episode with Drew!

I had a similar comment from someone else.
As a fast fix, I looked at the end of the previous book.
Many aspects of the characters are laid out there.
I have submitted a change that has a number of the last pages from Book 2. It identifies the key characters and their relationships which I think lays out the start of the book a little better. I will take the next couple of days to go in a slower review to see if I can reframe somethings to make it read a little easier.
