Well everyone that attended seems to have arrived home in one piece. It might have been a little bijou in the numbers and the format was a little mucked about by the weather or as it turns out, non weather but first reports are all positive.
We had a nice meal on Friday evening, a chance to renew acquaintances and catch up on things in each others worlds.
On Saturday we headed to Hardwick Hall - not by bike as planned but by car. Afterwards we had a short Gaby world tour around Warsop and Clumber Park. In the evening there was a Gaby reading, several older insights then a couple from the new book all of which were well recieved. Afterwards we adjourned for a chip supper.
Sunday again was a last minute change due to impending weather, this time we took a train ride to Lincoln where we enjoyed some of the RAF 100 celebrations and explored the Cathedral before returning to Worksop.
I understand there is photographic evidence available, this may well see the light of day in the next week or so.
That's it for now, a new Gaby chapter on WEDNESDAY. Then hopefully a new volume at the weekend.
C thee later

I missed it...
Was on your side of the channel just couple of weeks ago... But vacation time is limited... Maybe next time... Hopefully...
(never knew that there were proper full size mountains in Wales... Very beautiful if you are not on a single lane road stuck behind first a dumptruck, then a camper, for 2 hours ;-) ... )
Thanks very much
To Mads for putting the weekend together, and coming up with suggestions and local knowledge to adapt to the weather.
Also, to attendees from far and wide making it fun and friendly by turning up and joining in. It was so good to see you.
Legs are going to ache tomorrow. It was further than expected getting down to Worksop, and even further coming back!
Commiserations to those who would have liked to come along but were unable to.
