Flashback

I know, the title is not original...nor is the concept, but it deals with a girl who can go back in time by literally taking a step back. She can go back to a particular day and retain the knowledge of what occurred.

There are times where her powers bring her to situations where there are more of her in the same moment in time and they have to solve the quantum puzzle at hand. I had one scene in particular where her girlfriend has been accused of murdering someone and in her attempt to clear her name she is shot which causes a paradox.

The Cliffhanger

This was originally written as a male main character, but I thought it would work as a female lead, in this case, Asti Wysax, born into slavery to mine a magnetic ore high in the mountains, She builds and continuously refines a set of magnetic grappling beams to swing and move around the underside of the mountain village of Wycliff (which is suspended by AG engines). The chief of the village--who is her blind girlfriend's father--does not like her as she causes tension but her technical knowledge keeps the old AG engines running.
Asti's goal is to seek a council with the queen, but the royal family has been killed with only the young prince and a crooked adviser remaining.
