Hey there

Before I come to the main point of this blog post I'd like to note that I've not forgotten my existing story "When among Dragons...", and I'd like to continue it sometime, but currently its stagnating. More on that below, for those that are interested in the reason.

As mentioned in the title, I'm working on a new story that involves mermaids, but also sea-dragons. It plays in the same world as Patricia's "Changes in Paradise", a wonderful saga about mermaids. You can find it on fictionmania.tv here.

It worked well for me in my previous story that other people were involved in its creation, so that's why I want to do it again. So I'm looking for one or at most two people that want to influence it. While I've worked out the basic plot, I'm missing about two characters in it. While I will write the story myself, YOU or a character based on you can be part of the story. Your character would face an adventure along with their friends that involve sailing, transformations (from human to mermaid or sea-dragon, including TG transformations) and dealing with them both in the civilized world as well as on a faraway tropical island.

If you're interested, you'd contribute a character: their backstory, what kind of person they are and how they influence the story. I also have some open decisions about the plot of the story, and you can influence those. I'm itching to continue building and writing the story, so I'm eager for participation and cooperation.

Please send me a PM if you're interested.

Yours, Machara

As to why "When among Dragons..." is currently stagnant: That is because I and my fiance have not gotten to continue the roleplay on which the story is based on. Actually actively "living" the story as we role-play it has been a big motivator for me to put in the work to share it with others. I still have 4 more chapters that exist in its basic form, but it's become too much of a grind for me lately (also because I'm dealing with depression) to rework that into something that's pleasantly readable. I really hope to continue it in the future... sadly I have only gotten one comment in my last chapter saying they're actually interested in its continuation.
