Good morning all,
Someone recently posted on one of Penny's (excellent, of course) contributions suggesting that the small writing at the top with the keywords such as 'SEE' or 'JoB' or 'Somewhere Else Entirely' or 'Anmar' is too small to actually grab the attention of readers. They requested an Anmar logo or symbol to make our stories leap out from the page more.
Penny has selected such a logo / symbol which I reproduce here:
Of course, this means we now have to add this (we actually use the thumbnail version, so it is smaller than that above) to each of our chapters, each of our 'header' pages and so on and so forth.
I have already done this exercise for my Chivan Tale (Alibi Omnino) and for all the Appendix pages and menu header pages etc. etc.
Di has also updated her story (Warrior Princess) about what happened to Eriana and her Einnlanders after they first crashed onto the Plif shore.
I am about to embark on the long and tedious updating of each of my J o B chapters with this logo / symbol.
So expect to see 83 updates soon ...

He isn't, but that book is one of his much more difficult to plow through books. Most Heinlein fans are from the 'young adult' series, or the cat who walks through walls ones. My favourite is probably "Glory Road", and then "The Number of the Beast" - but I've liked just about all of his works. I think the first book(s) I read of his was the Waldo/Magic Incorporated combination. I always wished he'd written more in the Magic Inc. universe.
Most people probably only know the name through 'Starship Troopers', and the movie abomination.

I like the idea of a symbol. I nearly missed the new tale. But don’t stress on updating the old chapters. Get to it when the old writers block hits. We are more interested in new chapters than consistentcy in the old ones.
