Actually, it turned into pretty much a non-contest. It's okay. I know how daunting it must be to try to complete another writers story, and truthfully I didn't expect any entries, but I thought it'd be worth a try.
I originally stated that if I received no entries I would remove the story, but I'll bow to Erin's wishes and leave the story up. As far as I am concerned, there will never be a part two, and I apologize to all the readers who read it and wanted more of it. If I'd waited until I was more awake, it never would have been submitted in the first place.

I gave it some thought,
The difficulty is it would be hard to do as a short story. This one is likely novel length. As you have said, this was done in a hurry and you normally would not have released it in it's current form. That's what makes it so interesting, conversely. The goofs on dates are minor and could either be fixed or be part of the story, remember we are seeing this from the victin's viewpoint after the fact as best I can tell. Did they tamper with her memories as well as her body? And lots of other Q to answer. But not a bad premise.

Memories are not tampered
Memories are not tampered with, nor is any knowledge imparted during the changing process to help the changee cope with the gender change. The idea being to make as difficult as possible for the changees to adapt and function, thereby making it harder for them to run. There would also likely be some kind of tracking system implanted to make it easy to tell if a changee was running out on their court date.
