Years ago I started a poem:
Edible Ed was a gingerbread man
who had every right to be paranoid
...and that was as far as I got.
Paranoid is a tough rhyme...
Unalloyed?
Sangfroid?
Sigmund Freud?
SEWER SNOID?!!?!
Anyway, if anyone wants to incorporate it into their story about the trangender gingerbread from the cartoon (which I don't really get, unless "transgender" itself is supposed to be funny) or finish it as a poem they're welcome to it...

Ed cont.
His body was mostly made of rectangles
But his head was shaped like a trapezoid.
"I know I'm so delicious," said poor Ed
"I'll never last through the end of the year.
My clothes are made of vanilla frosting
With currants for my eyes, nose, mouth and ears."
"I'm doomed," he told his sweet girlfriend, Ginger.
Who'd have rolled her eyes if she were baked that way.
Your turn...
Hugs,
Erin
= Give everyone the benefit of the doubt because certainty is a fragile thing that can be shattered by one overlooked fact.
Ginger replies
“I'm doomed,” he told his sweet girlfriend, Ginger.
Who'd have rolled her eyes if she were baked that way
She replied with a titter, "There's no need to be bitter.
This box won't be opened 'til Christmas Day."
“That's almost lifetime in cookie years
so why have an outlook so stale.
Don't be grim and grouchy
Embrace this vita so dolce
And if you can, scoot your square self on over here...."
AND THAT'S MY SEGMENT, GO AHEAD AND FINISH IT
hugs, Ronni
(and this is simply a suggestion, a good last line might be
"An indelible smile on his trapezoid...")
