I am excited. This is a big day for writing firsts.
It's the first story I have written just for BigCloset TopShelf.
It's the first writing contest I have ever entered.
It's the first story I have ever formatted all on my own. The lovely Dawn Natelle did all that 'stuff' in the past. I still don't know how to add extra spaces and how to get the story to be marked SOLO, but hey it's a first.
I have to thank StacyInLove who egged me on and challenged me to give it a try. It's really all her fault if you don't like it.
Oh yeah. It's called Christmas Suite and I hope you find the time to read it and like it and comment on it.

I'll HAPPILY take credit for a little egging! It was mutual. This is the first contest I've ever done too!
...and I'll be happy when Leslie beats everyone out as well (including me). It's not really about winning either. It's about being part of it and showing some respect to Sephrena and BCTS for running such wonderful contests for us.
We Are All Winners!
MY OPINION: Anyone who reads the Christmas Contest stories or makes the effort to contribute a story is a winner. I for one really truly believe that the only way to have a REAL contest is to submit and judge all the stories 'blind'. No names attached to the stories so they are judged purely on their merit. But, in the meantime, kudos go out to Sephrena and BC for encouraging the spirit of the season. Merry Christmas!
