I wish to thank all the very dear souls who wished me a speedy recovery. That does seem to be occurring. I am now halfway up toward the ceiling indicating that all shall return to 'normal' in short order. I needed to have two wisdom teeth removed on each side of my lower jaw. One had another tooth beneath it!!! How weird is that? My three little children and my one really huge child have been walking about with huge smiles upon their faces. I haven't been able to speak!!! Rest assured that I shall make up for this also in short order!!!
I am also convinced that dentists can charge by the stitch. My mouth is full of them. What's worse is that they are the kind of thread that dissolves over time so now I have a bunch of loose strings flopping about in my mouth. On another painful note...sort of... I've known Andrea Lena for nine years. It took me three months to convince her to come over to this site to post her tales. Now I need scroll down heaven only knows how many of her tales if I want to send her a PM about whatever I'm currently reading. Who knew she would be THAT productive??? Thankfully she is!!!

My mom had her wisdom tooth pulled twice
the second one was rotten and had to be removed in pieces. Sad to hear about the pain to both you and your wallet, get well soon.
Shoot
My lower wisdom teeth had to be surgically removed. I had some of the worst pain I have felt. I can't imagine trying to remove another tooth beneath one of them. Get well soon
Wisdom Teeth
When I was just 22, I went to the Dentist and without warning, he pulled all four of mine. Thankfully, they came out easily. When I told him I was on a Motorcycle, he gave me two pills, and said to ride straight home, take those pills, and lay down. "No solid food for 24 hours". I was high riding home on the Motorcycle ! wheee!
Monday I was back at school and work. Completely uneventful. I wish that everyone had that experience.
Get well soon.

I had all four pulled when I was 17(?),
I can't remember exactly when, but it was while I was in the group home after the adoption broke down, so between the end of September of 1981 and late June of 1984. Those four teeth were blocking other adult teeth from being able to grow properly, so they were removed.
Having them removed hurt quite a bit, I had two Tylenol® 3s for the pain. I was grumpy at not being able to eat while I was high on the 3s.
I had the bad luck as a child and teenager of having my mouth be too small for the teeth coming in, many ended up squeezed together.
