A few days ago, I woke up with an idea for a story to be set in Winnisimmet, Massachusetts. I wanted it to be a Winnisimmet Tales story.

Because of that, I sent a fairly long message to efindumb giving a lot of information about the story I wanted to write.

I argued a bit with him, saying that I felt the story could be told without it interfering with a story he said he was about to write that would be similar. After some discussion, he asked me to send whatever I would put in the story to him. I felt that was fair, so I agreed.

The writing progressed fairly well, I had the main story finished within a day or so. I then spent another day adding little parts that I felt would help to make the piece a bit better, sending each bit over to him to get his comments and eventual approval.

Much of the initial piece is background, mostly flashbacks to memories of events that happened that shaped the lead character's life.

I intend to go on from where the first piece leaves off, telling the story at times from Carmen's POV, and other times from the twins' POV.

As I said in the little blurb I added when I posted the initial piece, I hope that I can do justice in telling a Winnisimmet Tales story.

I hope that you all enjoy it, I've been half bouncing off the walls for the last few days while writing it. LOL
