Take care of yourself and make sure to rest. I have had surgery on my stomach and I know just what you will be going through my friend. Make sure that the doctors know your medical history.

Almost any surgery carries some risk of complications, abdominal surgury is both routine and serious.
I hope all goes well, there are no suprises, you avoid any infections and the lime Jello, and you are back with us whole and healthy soon.

Keep a positive attitude and you will do well. Maybe you can write about it. Is there a chance this csyt was triggered by the drugs they fed you as a child?
But don't rush it. Recover at the pace you and your doctor(s) are comfortable with.

Thanks for the kind wishes and regards on a speedy recovery. I am hopeful I will be back in a few short weeks depending on my doc's assessment. I will be continuing my journal while in hospital. One never knows if I wll add this to the story, otr make a seperate one altogether. I will say this is going to be scary and intense. I have had surgeries before(too many to count) and this one actually scares me more than the others I have had. With Gods Blessings and the Angels looking out for me I will be ok.
