Not quite sure where Cathy will fit this in her survey. Or a couple of others.
A new cat on the block?
You know I did that study on Mountain Gorillas... meet the new neighbour!
Those of you who know about gorillas will immediately spot this is actually a lowland gorilla, but he was such a handsome fellow I though I'd include him. There are apparently no Eastern or Mountain Gorillas in captivity anywhere.
For those wondering what this is all about, I went with a party from the mammal group to Paignton zoo in Devon to hear about the captive dormouse breeding programme which they administer with PTES (People's Trust for Endangered Species). It was all obviously in the name of research for Bike, which I hope will return as usual tomorrow.

(I'm reading a book about bonobos right now.
Matriarchal, way mellower than chimpanzees.
A great bunch of apes.)
What borders on stupidity?
Canada and Mexico.

I wonder
What if bonobos are just a bunch of wiseass chimps doing a Margaret Mead on the researchers? :D
Oh, and anyone can tell that's a Lowland Gorilla; he's not wearing a kilt.

The Ape in the Picture
Poor gorilla. Now they're saying he's out of kilter.

That gorilla does appear to be a Le Pen supporter
Up to the reading of Erin's comment, I had a great respect for her, Now I find she's no better than me ! A twisted sense of humor is usually possessed by only the truly smart. This of course, includes Angharad and Her.

Sans culottes?
Not sure of the political leanings of this ape, but if he wants claim to be a true working class hero, he should be wearing pantalons instead of going without lower coverings entirely. :)
Then again, perhaps you are right. From his expression he seems to have heard the poll results.

Erin, you're right
Definitely looks like someone who's candidate only got 35% of the vote.
