A belated Christmas gift to you all, I have just posted the first chapter of "Playing her way 2".

I haven't been doing much writing lately. I've had an idea for a story about a prank involving a secret Santa gift for quite a while, and I thought I would write it up in time for Christmas. Ideally posting the chapters on the days corresponding to the events.

Obviously this hasn't happened. As per usual it has taken a lot longer to put this together than expected. However, as I am off work this week, I have been concentrating on getting this story ready for posting. It's not yet complete, but I'm running out of ideas.

I currently have six chapters, the last two of which cover Christmas day. I could end it there, but I would rather continue the story until the heroine is back in school in January.

I have decided to start posting now, so that you can read a Christmas story somewhere near Christmas, otherwise it might have been February before it got published, or worse, next Christmas. My new years resolution will be to try and do better at getting things finished.

I have at least three other unfinished stories to complete, including a spin off from my first posted story "Spirited Emergence" created in 2010. After six years, I think its about time I completed it. That one won't be a sequel. I've taken a background character I've created from one universe, The Centre by Lilith Langtree, and dropped them into another, an Aunt Jane fanfic. I know that particular universe is controversial and not always popular here, but I will no doubt publish it anyway.

I have a mystery story regarding Amnesia and hypnosis. The trouble is, I can't actually decide the solution to the mystery myself, which is slightly problematic.

I have tried to get into the habit of writing before. I started an ongoing serial with the aim of adding a chapter a week, with the aim to start posting once I had a buffer of episodes. My attempt at something like 'Bike'. But unlike Angharad, I couldn't maintain writing and so far I have manage to produce seven episodes in four years. It's not as bad as it sounds, as most of those were written over the space of a few months and have been parked ever since.

I haven't disappeared, I am still a regular visitor, but come the new year I intend to be slightly more active again. Only time will tell if I succeed or not.
