If I have this right today is my eleventh anniversary of discovering BC. Certainly have been a lot of changes - of style and people over time. The changes in style always making things better; the changes in people just part of life. I think I registered because I had a story to post, my first ever.

In a fit of pique several years back I took my stories and went home. One of those disagreements with management that seemed so important at the time but in the overall scheme of things was overblown in my mind. So I watched and read and kept silent until I hit myself upside the head and told myself that the only person I was punishing was me.

Yeah I can be kind of an insufferable prick at times and a stubborn one but eventually this prick pops my balloon of self importance and I come to my senses. So I jumped back in and posted something different, stories in caption form.

I'd found another home, the Haven, where my new style of writing worked well so I probably won't write stories like I did but I still love reading them. So like a lot of retirees I have two homes now and split my time between them. This is like the family home with lots of memories. The other is like a vacation home where I get to play and make captions. Thank god I don't have to pay property taxes!

To make a long story longer I have republished most of my old stories and am contributing by trying to organize things for my fellow authors. Trying to give back something for the joy of reading all your works for the past eleven years.
