As I have stated a few times, I do apologize for the long intermission between posts. Real life has become quite intense and left me little time to devote to my passion of writing. I can see light at the end of the tunnel, but that light is at least another two months away.
I also apologize for the length of part 7 to the super solder saga, I usually shoot for posting segments in these serialized stories of around 10,000 words. What I believe to be long enough to be entertaining but still short enough to read in one sitting. With all the anticipation on the fight with the football team, I really wanted to get that included in this post, which lead to the longer length.

Worth the wait
Length doesn't matter if the story is excellent. Given the time it took to write and the time between chapters the length was fine. Heck you added enough to satisfy us for another month or more!
Real life comes first so don't apologize for being delayed in writing, we understand and the ones who don't don't have a say in it anyway.

Real life pays the bills and so is far more important as for the length of this posting I never even noticed as it kept me enthralled throughout
and passed time on the final leg of a long flight home to the UK from Seoul - better than the in flight movies!
Waiting for quality never seems like a wait it simple feeds the anticipation.

At just over 17,000 words it was getting close to double the size I would normally try to post

Supper soldier?
I first read that as "Supper Soldier." A person willing to fight for their dinner, or the right to cook it.
