I'm disappointed with my latest effort, there isn't much subtlety in action stories, at least, not in the way I write them.
I could say I was tired and full of cold, and it was late, all of which were true, but that sounds like an excuse. I've touched on another topic of current affairs, the trade in women from Eastern Europe for prostitution. It's abhorrent and if I'd discovered that about the two lowlifes, I'd have kicked them again, even harder. So the soap element is still working, sort of.
So my apologies for what I consider a sub standard episode, I'll try and do better tonight.

Even if you consider it sub-standard, an assessment which I am sure your legion of fans won't agree with, that works out at less than 0.5%, so you're 99.5% perfect!

Mind you, I still think she did an amazing job and I don't think it was sub-standard. After all it's the sort of thing we've come to expect from Batgirl and Robyn.

only in civilised countries we call it lycra. It's used in cycling kit, hence cyclists are sometimes called 'lycra louts'

I know ...
.. and I'm one :) I've only recently discovered that it's 'not the done thing' to ride round town in cycling gear - ie lycra tights. I've been doing it since they replaced the baggy tweed plus twos I used to wear. These youngsters are too sensitive. If an OAP can do it, then so can anyone. In any case my best feature is my legs - so my SO tells me :o)
Angharad, one of the best bits about EAFOAB is its general unpredictability. True, it's a ridiculous story if anyone sits down and thinks about it seriously, but it's really an experiment in writing and is, above all, a load of fun to read. It's enough that you make the effort to entertain us every evening, and have succeeded in doing just that for 209 consecutive days. Enough? It's much, much more than enough. It's a delightful wonder.
