Well you asked for it so here you go, Book 12+1 chapter 1!

I took a short Easter break to Hamburg and came back with a cold! Gaby came along for the ride, we visited Lubeck (for some marzipan), Kiel and of course Hamburg including pretty much a whole day at the Miniatur Wunderland! Apart from the weather delayed departure heading out, it was a good few days break. However normal service returns for a week or so, I should be writing again tomorrow - not sure what yet but writing nevertheless.

Just a heads up tho, I go away again next week on a road trip to ride the Spreewald Marathon for the 8th time - glutton for punishment or what? Writing will therefore happen after my training session each day - I'm expecting to top 300km before next weekend! I've also got a place on the Otztaler Radmarathon in Austria - even longer and instead of pan flat some 4000m of climbing - in a day, but at least I've got until the end of August to prepare for that!
