Book 2 of The Transit of Venus is drawing to a close and it seems that for many readers it signals the end of those subjects that draw them to BC. For those that are interested in the sailing, history and adventures I will be continuing but am unsure whether to post it 1-2,000 words at a time as I have been or when I complete the book. There is a danger that without the routine of posting to encourage me Book 3 might take a very long time.
I've appreciated the comments and PMs from readers, one of which saved the plot from a fatal flaw, and hope that over the last few posts of Book 2 you will take the time to give me an overall assessment - I do ramble and my posts haven’t been independantly proof read so at the moment I’m not sure how hard it is to imagine my characters or even follow the story.

More please
I know that to do the writing must be a real chore. I for one love this series so much, along with the links you provide and images. I will some day soon be moving from the States to England and I was blessed enough to drive by Swansea enroute to Tenby and St Florence. I stayed in St Florence and I so loved that part of my trip. Someday I hope to spend much more time exploring that area of England, ooops!! Wales. Please do continue with this series as it is so interesting.

Thank you Dahlia
As you probably know this is my first attempt to write fiction and the links only popped up as an afterthought once I started writing. Good luck on your move and in particular thank you for mentioning the links which it hadn't occured to me are part of the way I wrote Books 1&2, a bite at a time.

I too agree that the story is riveting and look forward to the daily posting but you could look at once or twice a week depending on how you feel - true the story is veering away from the basic premise of BC but you do keep referring back to how Venus used to be.
Many stories veer away from the premise so I wouldn't worry too much.
I personally don't think you ramble (well just a little) but the ramblings DO have a reason and as the episode progresses all becomes clear considering you are concerned about being independently proof read - don't be your characters are believable and it's easy to empathise with them and I don't think that there are many mistakes as the Grammar Gestapo leave you alone.

Please submit one at a time, otherwise the wait would be a killer.

...are second to the story. This is an open community and this story has touched many members. Those who find it less important because it is a sailing story are more than capable of looking elsewhere. Real people have real lives that go beyond sex, race, or gender stereotypes.
please continue this marvelous tale.
