I caught up with an old schoolfriend on New Year's day. He's known about my transition, but he caught me a bit by surprise when he said that he'd bought my book and enjoyed reading it!

Once I get a chance, I WILL go to see him (he's a bit disabled and in a wheelchair) and sign it for him. He's never actually seen me as Catherine, but he's said, several times, that he has no problem with me becoming Catherine and looks forward to seeing me in person.

We graduated together WAaaaay back in 1966 and yes, I know I'm dating myself. Once I entered the service, we kinda lost touch and haven't really seen one another face to face in over 40 years, so it should be interesting, and fun, I hope, to actually see him again after so long.

Of course, I will most likely be very busy after I win the poweball lottery tonight, what with setting up The Home That Love Built, for real, but I will reserve time to go see my old friend and make sure he's doing well and make certain that his future will be a good one.

Oh yes. I WILL be building the REAL HTLB. You may take that to the bank and cash it.
