At first I had writers block for several months, not being able write much I didn't hate. Afterwards I got absorbed in my own life and my old laptop died. This was bad because I had my story outline and research there, and of course it wasn't backed up. However, I have gotten back into writing and am happy with how chapter 3 is coming. Although I won't be able to write chapter 4+ until I can redo my research, trying to keep it somewhat historically accurate with names and all that.

Going forward I will finish chapter 3, and while I do my research for chapter 4 I will be starting another story. I have a few different ideas and I'll see which one takes a life of its own. As of now I've been re-reading a couple of my favorite stories, which I was pleased to see that Synergy is related to one of them (Harry Potter - When Past and Present Collide by Elizabeth Jean).

In addition to this, part of my New Year's Resolution is getting back in shape and writing a depression help book (or website, just depends). After 11 years of chronic depression I feel like it is my responsibility to help others that are suffering from it. I hope everyone has a fantastic year and please look forward to several posts from me.

Happy New Years everyone!

Maybe not lost

Depending on what failed it may be possibly be able to set up the laptop drive as a peripheral device and read your data from it just like you would a USB device. Any competent computer shop should be able to do that for you.

I went outside once. The graphics weren' that great.

I sent it to asus for repair but it got lost and is now gone. On the bright side I bought an awesome gaming laptop. But everything on it is gone.

Welcome back

Here's to a brighter year for you.
My missus has had hard drives "recovered" before, doesn't always work but worth a try.
