as i am sure many of you know, I'm immigrating to the United States. Well part of that process was that I collected my medical records and in it I found records from CAMH, which does gender identity therapy amongst other things. What I was delighted to discover were the notes taken by my psychiatrist and psychologist. THey found me 'charmingly feminine'.
It made me blush and beam in spite of myself, it was such a nice thing to read!
I don't know if this has any discussion value but I was so happy i wanted to share it.

I bet that did make your face hurt from smiling. It is such an unexpected validation of who you are it surely had to be not only fulfilling but also heartwarming.
Even though I present as a male, after a few sessions my counselor told me she had difficulty referring to me as a him/he and unconsciously was using she/her - she asked it it was okay with me to use the feminine pronouns. I was ecstatic that she saw me.
I can understand the desire to share such a wonderfully unexpected experience.

Homonyms, synonyms, heterographs, contractions, slang, colloquialisms, clichés, spoonerisms, and plain old misspellings are the bane of writers, but the art and magic of the story is in the telling not in the spelling.
The little things
Sometimes it's the little things in life that bring us happiness, an off the cuff remark or as here a sentence in a report that validates who you are and makes you feel good about yourself.
I am glad you found this and wish you many more such happy discoveries.
stuff like that would make my day too
congrats, and huggles!
