I'm sure you all recall Hatshepsut from Ma'at. Recently, in what has been described as the most important find since the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb, archaeologists have identified the mummy of Hatshepsut, a woman more powerful than either Cleopatra or Nefertiti. Tomorrow, July 15th at 9PM Eastern the Discovery Channel will air 'Secrets of Egypt's Lost Queen', which details the archaeological and forensic journey that led to her mummy being identified.
I'm sure that any fan of Itinerant's Ma'at will find this fascinating, as will any who simply love history. I've got my DVR programmed already!

Earlier this week
Both Discovery Channel and the History Channel were broadcasting an hour-long special that consisted of the interviews with the Egyptologist responsible. From that special and being a complete geek myself, I'm definitely gonna see it!
Even though I've not read any of the Ma'at stuff. Sorry. Don't hate me! It's on my list of stuff to eventually get to, honest!
