Burly Grimes, the last legal -- he was grand fathered in and lasted over another decade -- spitball pitcher was from northern Wisconsin , grew up in the same town as our late Senator Nelson, the man who inspired Earth Day. Grimes died a very old and well liked man not all that many years ago back in his old childhood town.

I knew about Grimes, though I had forgotten his name. Been a few spitballers since his time, not legal but just as wet. :)

I used to pitch softball, fast pitch. I could even throw a curve which people who don't know will tell you isn't possible with a softball. It doesn't curve as much as a baseball but it drops like rolling off a table.

You're anticipating though. Next episode is called "Rule 8.02." :)

With all the wildlife around, looks kinda like burgoo to me, but with all the jambalayers of wordplay, it's anyone's guess. ;-)
